VIOLENT OR NON-VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES & EXTRAVERSION AS A PREDICTOR OF AGGRESSION
Abstract
Debate regarding the psychological & behavioral effects of playing
violent video games has recently led to claims that violent video
games increase aggression effects in adolescents, & that this issue
has now been settled. Over the past decade countless studies have
arisen supposedly proving a causal link between video games,
violent behavior. Violent video games have raised concerns,
particularly from the media, certain regulatory bodies & mental
health professionals. The current study aim is to explore violent
video games & extraversion as a predictor of aggression. A
between group design was followed for conducting the present
study. In this study, the adolescent students of Chittagong city,
Bangladesh were the target population. A total of 50 school
students were purposely selected in the current study. The result
demonstrated that violent video games significantly produced
more aggressive responses than nonviolent video games. It was
also demonstrated that by a simple Pearson’s correlation was
computed to examine the relation between extraversion &
aggression. Contrary to the second hypothesis, extraversion was
not significantly related to aggression (r 50= .47, p > .05). A stepwise regression analysis was computed to examine whether or not
extraversion moderated the effect of violent video games on
aggression. In this analysis, it is found that extraversion
significantly moderated the effect of video game condition.

GOOD GOVERNANCE OF AUDIT QUALITY: STRUCTURAL MODELLING
Abstract
This study was aimed to empirically test the formulation of good
audit quality governance system in Indonesia. This study used an
explanatory method which was analyzed by using Partial Least
Square-PLS. The respondents of this study are auditors who have
JFP certificate (Examiner Functional Position); Civil Servants (PNS)
in addition to JFP auditors who have often conducted inspections
with at least two years of experience carrying out audit work; Civil
servants who have worked in finance for at least two years. The
results showed that the independence factor has a significant effect
on compliance with the code of ethics, but does not directly affect
audit quality. However, the independence factor can affect audit
quality if through compliance with the code of ethics. The
commitment factor has no direct effect on compliance with the code
of ethics and on audit quality. But the factor of commitment to
audit quality would affect if it was supported by high audit
compliance. Compliance with the code of ethics has a direct effect
on audit quality. The allowances was affected to mediate the
compliance relationship to the code of ethics and audit quality. This
means that if a high allowance will have an impact on the high and
low compliance relationship with the code of ethics and audit
quality, so that to increase compliance with the code of ethics, it is
necessary to increase independence and to improve audit quality, it
is necessary to increase compliance with the code of ethics and
allowances.

FORESIGHT ACTIVITY IN MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING AND CONTROL: A CONTINGENCY APPROACH
Abstract
This study aims to determine the connection of foresight activity with
management accounting and control in achieving organizational goals by
using a contingency approach. Contingency theory related to management
accounting, control, strategy, structure and performance paradigm is a
synergy between strategy and organizational structure that aims to maximize
performance in response to internal and external factors. Contingency theory
considers that an organization is a function of several factors that are
simultaneously influenced by external environmental factors and other
factors. The data was obtained from empirical studies of previous studies
from 1980 to 2014. The results of empirical studies revealed that (1) empirical
research on management accounting and control using a contingency
approach was 236 studies. (2) the contingency approach in the foresight
activity study found only 31 studies. The results of this study found that there
is a relationship between foresight activity and management accounting and
control. Organizational success in system design, strategy formulation,
strategy implementation, strategy evaluation until improvement or change in
strategy is supported by foresight activity. In addition, Foresight activity
focuses on achieving long-term corporate goals.

classic assumption test first which includes normality test,
multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation
test. By testing the hypothesis using a simultaneous significant test
(F-Test) and a partial significant test (Test-t) and Determination
Coefficient (R²) with a standard error of estimate used by 5% or 0.05.

A CASE STUDY OF SAIC MAXUS AUTOMOBILES IN MALAYSIA
Abstract
SAIC Motor Corporation Limited is a state-owned automotive company in
China. It mainly performed the manufacture, production, sales and
development of the passenger cars, commercial vehicles as well as the auto
parts of the vehicles. SAIC Motor has established its own brand, Roewe,
MG and Maxus. Maxus products ranged from multipurpose vehicles
(MPV), sport utility vehicles (SUV) to recreational vehicles (RV) and
various types of light-and medium-sized trucks. In Malaysia, Maxus
automobiles are distributed by Weststar Maxus Sdn Bhd.Maxus has strong
brand image and favourable brand reputation and it received huge
support and attention from Chinese and Shanghai government. Moreover,
Maxus is outstanding in technologies such as the Zebra Smart Interconnect
System. However, Maxus has weak presence and low brand awareness in
Malaysia and its channel of distribution is lagging behind. Not onlythat,
Maxus also faced high overall costs in its automobile production.
Currently, the automotive industry is transforming into an intelligent
automotive industry and there is a rising trend in low carbon economy and
new energy vehicles. Furthermore, Maxus faced fierce competition in
Malaysian automobile industry and there is a risk of elimination of
traditional automobiles. In Malaysia, Maxus is facing high bargaining
power of buyers, low bargaining power of suppliers, low threat of
substitutes, low threat of new entrants and low intensity of rivalry. The 4Ps
marketing mix has determined what strategy Maxus used for its product,
price, place as well as promotion. Under the VRIO model, both Maxus G10
and Maxus V80 are valuable to Maxus and Maxus is organized to exploit the resources that they have. However, Maxus automobiles are not rare
and it is not difficult for the competitors to imitate the automobiles. Based
on the research data, Maxus should focus more on the segments of adults
that are ranged between 15 to 64 years old and reside at Kuala Lumpur,
Putrajaya as well as Selangor. Meanwhile, Maxus targets its customer for
Maxus G10 based on lifestyles and Maxus V80 based on their occupations.
In order to be sustainable in Malaysia, Maxus has to increase its brand
awareness among Malaysian and establish more distribution centres in
Malaysia. Not only that, Maxus can bring over its competitive technologies
in China to Malaysia, such as the Zebra Smart Interconnect System and the
new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) intelligent assisted
autopilot system.
